Hand-in or Hand-out?

The Hand-in function in Fronter is a nice app. But for some, uploading in the right folder is a challenge. In this video I show a method of easing the experience for the user by sending a message containing the button to upload, instead of a link to the button.

Let’s admit. To write mathematical or chemical equations in Office has been a pain in the … . Yes, of course, there have been several good third party applications, but that’s not the point. Microsoft has finally got around and embedded these functions in MS Office. Now you can write equations without wondering whether your reader has or has not a third party app. I this video I will have an introduction to equations in MS office.

Cleaning up the folders

One of the advantages of Fronter is its diversity. This, however, is also a disadvantage. If you are not familiar with the choices you have as a user or student, your first experiences can be daunting. Therefor those who use Fronter should spend some time removing extra goodies for new-bees until new-bees are somewhat more experienced. One particular point of interest is the multiple choices you have once you select a folder. In this video I will show one method of cleaning up the folder for new users.

There are several softwares for blogging, but few, if any, come close to WordPress. Why? Because WordPress is not just an application, but more a community. Podcastaway revisited

One thing is to create a podcast, another ting is to publish it. Here I show an example of combining WordPress and iTunes to publish your podcasts. For the time being you should use WordPress 2.5.1 as version 2.6 doesn’t support podcasting as shown in the video. I hope this is fixed in the near future.
