Not a reference management software

Are you a writer? In that case you may be familiar with Endnote or other reference management softwares. If you are not, you may still need a tool to sort your references in a text document. MS Word offers you a good app, not known to everybody due to a misgiving title. In this video we’ll see one approach in using footnotes as a reference management system and we’ll see how to refer to the same footnote several times. Handy for students who write reports occasionally and for whom Endnote will be too expensive or too complicated.

Better google search

Why is Google so famous? First and most, because of their search engine, but also because of their accessories. In this video I will present some of the applications Google offers. These apps have both private and educational usage and in my humble opinion will ease your digital life.

More on random groups

Last video showed an example of sorting students manually. In this video we use the random function of Excel, or similar spreadsheets softwares like Open-Office, to sort students randomly in groups of 3 and also to use Formatting function so the list is a little more presentable.
